St. Ann’s Home and School Association’s (H&S) goal is to promote open
communication and cooperation among the parents, teachers and administration,
and to coordinate parental support for St. Ann’s School social functions and
fundraisers. All families with children attending St. Ann’s School are
automatically members of H&S, which is governed by an executive steering
committee along with supporting subcommittees. |

Over the past decade, H&S has raised a substantial amount of money through
the fundraising and donation efforts of its children, their parents and
relatives, parishioners and the Stoughton community at large. These efforts
have included the fabulous pancake, chili and spaghetti meals, waiting tables
at Pizza Hut and Culvers, washing cars, donations from local business such as
the “We Care” Pick N’ Save receipt program, book and craft fairs, bulb sales,
parish-wide garage sale, Market Day and scrip programs. |

These fundraising efforts have allowed H&S to sponsor such activities as
the Parish Harvest Festival, Christmas Concert and Party, Catholic School Week
activities, speakers on family issues, Syttende Mai float, school picnic and
graduation party, supervision during lunch periods, and provide funds to the
teachers for them to purchase needed items for their classrooms. Also, a
significant share of the funds raised by St. Ann’s School has also been used to
build and furnish the new and existing facilitates used by both St. Ann’s
School and Parish. |
